Woodstock Area Meals on Wheels prepares and delivers hot, wholesome meals every day to the homes of the elderly, shut-ins, handicapped and convalescents within the area of Woodstock.
This service is available to those who are physically unable to prepare a daily hot meal for themselves. Meals on Wheels can accommodate those with special dietary needs, including vegetarians, diabetics, and individuals with food allergies. If additional meals are needed on the weekend, they can be delivered on Friday.
Woodstock Area Meals on Wheels always welcomes new volunteers as drivers or as kitchen aides. Drivers spend about one hour on their deliveries, while kitchen aides contribute two hours per week. We also have weekly shoppers pick up the groceries based on the menu the chef plans for the following week.
