The Street Festival is a not-for-profit organization run by grassroots citizens for the purpose of continuing the legendary Rosendale Street Festival. The festival is intended for the multiple benefits it offers to the community and the Mid-Hudson Valley as a whole. It is a volunteer effort on the part of both the musicians and organizers. Because of the support and generosity of the community last year’s street festival was able to award $7,500 in scholarships to local music programs as well as make a donation to the Rosendale Theatre Collective.
