Thanks so much to the awesome volunteer crew from UnitedHealthcare who helped assemble storage units in the basement of People’s Place which will serve as a shared freezer cooler hub for the major food pantries & feeding programs in Kingston! And to the Bruderhof Communities for donating countless hours helping prepare the space.

And thank you to Local Economies Project / Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley Farm Fresh Food Grant for funding the collaborative led by Family of Woodstock Inc and RVGA Rondout Valley Growers Association to create this network of shared cold storage hubs for food pantries around the county so more fresh & frozen produce donated by our generous local farmers can be distributed year round.
