Volunteer opportunity with Kingston Land Trust

by | Sep 8, 2020

The Kingston Land Trust is in need of volunteers interested in spending 1-3 hours this fall to help steward the land we have protected and want to open up for the public to use. The land is at 71 Gross St, between the Amigos church, JFK Elementary, Rondout Gardens public housing, and the Kingston Greenline. Work (socially distanced) could include spreading woodchips, ecological plant management and garden bed building, and possibly some shrub and tree planting. It would also be a learning opportunity on topics of land conservation, permaculture, ecological land management, park design, community building around land, etc.
