THE WOODSTOCK FARM FESTIVAL IS SEEKING VOLUNTEERS

by | May 5, 2009

The Woodstock Farm Festival is gearing up for another season of local food, music, special events & fun for the kids.

Beginning with the spring veggies & fruits, we will be open this year from May 27, through the fall harvest Oct 28.

We currently need volunteers for traffic control, (pedestrian crossings & parking area’s), for our 2 late shifts, either 5-7 or 6-8. Traffic vests & walkie-talkies will be provided. If you can help with traffic please contact Michael Veitch mveitch@verizon.net

Throughout the season we can always use help setting up, (beginning at 2PM) & breaking down in the evenings after closing, as well as various other types of help. Please contact Joan Reynolds to volunteer at (845) 679-8545 or joanreynolds@earthlink.net

Helping out at the Farm Festival is a lot of fun, as all the folks you deal with are in a happy festival mood. Meet people you haven’t seen for years, make new friends, enjoy the warmth of the sun & delicious food. Be prepared to thoroughly enjoy yourself!
