A last minute request from People’s Place for help this Sunday March 15 from 12 noon to 2pm. Runners in Sunday’s Shamrock Run have been asked by the AOH to bring a can of food for People’s Place. We could get up to 17 cases of food in a half hour. We need help for about two hours (my guess) receiving cans of food, thanking the runners packing up the boxes and bringing them to People’s Place. Volunteers can just show up at the Governor Clinton Hotel, 1 Albany Ave. near the registration area at the run’s start point (Academy Green, at the foot of Broadway).
