Kingston Cares seeks volunteer music & art teachers in Mid-town Kingston

by | Feb 3, 2011

Kingston Cares, a community collaborative sponsored by Family of Woodstock, Inc., is in need of volunteers to expand its free music and arts program located at the Everette Hodge Community Center on Franklin St. in Kingston.

Due to the program’s popularity and the need for positive activities for youth in our community, we are in the process of expanding our program and including more individual and group workshops. We are currently in need of one guitar teacher (acoustic and/or electric) and one drum set teacher. We are looking for volunteers who have experience giving music lessons and can donate 1 hour of time per week. Lessons are given on weekdays from 4pm-6pm. All instruments, composition books and supplies are provided. Please contact us at 845-331-1110 or at kingstoncares@fowinc.org for more information.
