The Esopus Fire Department is always accepting new members and no experience is required. Memberships may be either for active firefighting or on a social level in the department.

Volunteer Benefits:

Application Requirements:
Applicants must fill out a membership application with a copy of their NYS DMV ID or NYS Drivers License and be a fire district resident or live in Ulster County within 5 miles of the Esopus Firehouse. Active firefighters must pass a firefighter physical and drug test. Applicants can be as young as 16 and need legal guardian consent.
