We Dig Plants after school program at George Washington Elementary School in Kingston is in need of caring adults with a passion for working with youth! Volunteers Needed to Prepare Bulk Mailings. Cornell Cooperative Extension Ulster County is seeking volunteers to fold and seal their association newsletter four times a year at their Extension Education Center located at 10 Westbrook Lane, Kingston. Call Jude DeFalco at 340-3990 or email jad355@cornell.edu for details. Dates needed will be in the months of June, September and December. Other various tasks may be available at other times.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County’s 4-H Youth Development Program is pleased to introduce the Ashokan Watershed Youth Stewards Internship Program in coordination the Ashokan Watershed Stream Management Program.Participate in several outdoor activities and gain new hands-on skills such as GIS mapping, ecology identification and invasive plant removal. Explore the watershed on exciting and educational field trips, meet environmental professionals and create fun service projects in the Ashokan Reservoir watershed this summer. This internship is open to all young people in grades 7-12 who live in the Ashokan Watershed or attend Onteora School. More info.
