The water ban has been lifted! Volunteers are no longer needed to help distribute water – thank you so much to everyone who offered to help out!
Several days ago, residents of the Village of New Paltz were issued a do no drink advisory for all consumers of the Village’s municipal water supply due to visible odor and taste differences in the water.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the point of distribution of bottled water during this incident. We are requesting volunteers to distribute bottled water, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 14, 15 & 16th from 8am-9pm. Two volunteers per shift would be needed.
