Walktoberfest returns to the Walkway and Hudson Valley Rail Trail
October 2 – 3, 2021.
Over 100 vendors will take over the Hudson Valley Rail Trail and parking lot free to the public. In addition, there will be a ticket only area with access to wine, beer, spirits, and cider samples from more than 20 area purveyors. General admission (excluding the tasting area) is free. PREREGISTRATION RECOMMENDED through Walkway.org. Day of tickets MAY NOT be available.
Only Ticketholders can enter the sampling area with proof of purchase through printed or mobile ticket.
Volunteers will assist with parking, answer questions, be present at the entrances and exits to the tasting area, assist with registration, monitor traffic flow on the rail trail and setup. Shifts are Friday Oct. 1, Saturday Oct. 2 & Sunday Oct. 3, 11:30am – 2:30pm & 2:30pm – 6:00pm
Volunteers will:
• Stay home if ill or showing or feeling any COVID-19 symptoms, such as fever, cough, and/or trouble breathing.
• Arrive 30 minutes prior to your assigned time and location.
• Check in with Walkway Staff.
• Stay in assigned role until the end of the shift.
• In appreciation of your time, every volunteer will receive a wristband for the tasting area for use either day before or after your shift.
