Summer Solstice Run
when: Wednesday, June 22, 2016, 6:30pm
where: Minnewaska State Park Preserve, Rt 44/55, Gardiner
Fund Raiser for the Lou Gross Memorial Fund
The race is limited to the first 400 entrants. There is a $10 per car parking fee.
Online registration closes 6/21/16 @ noon
The race starts at Lake Minnewaska and runs along incredible cliffs (Castle Point), circles pristine glacial lakes (Lake Awosting), and through blooming mountain laurel. This is one of the most beautiful runs, anywhere. This race is sanctioned by USA Track and Field.

Awards: M/F categories 19 & Under | 20-29 | 30-39 | 40-49 | 50-59 | 60-69 | 70-79 | 80+
Volunteers needed, particularly people who can run or bike out to the water stops. Volunteers receive free entry coupons that can be used at any future Shawangunk Runners Club event and yes you can give them to someone if you don’t use them.
