Join us as we clean up the newest and largest property in the Kingston Land Trust’s land portfolio!
This newly protected land is located between Gross Street and Murray Street in the Rondout neighborhood of Kingston, and borders the Kingston Point Rail Trail. It will serve as a land base for the KLT’s outdoor engagement activities, including cleanups and plantings along the Kingston Greenline. Other ideas that have arisen for using this property through the KLT brainstorming with partner organizations include a fitness station, a bike-fixing station, outdoor education, a covered meeting area and sculpture. During 2019, the KLT will continue outreach to communities around the property as well as other stakeholders in order to develop a plan for its use.
Be sure to wear work clothes and bring water, gloves and garbage bags will be provided!
