Please join us for WEEDING WEDNESDAYS every Wednesday from 4:30-6:30 for some good old fashioned hand weeding. Please park in the Y parking lot (507 Broadway) and walk to the garden which is behind River Radiology.
Great things are growing at the Kingston YMCA Farm Project! The quarter acre farm organically grows fruits and vegetables from arugula to zucchini. The Farm is a place of education and community food production. Young people in the Y’s after school programs and Camp Starfish work in the garden, learning first hand how to grow food. We are also offering a program for 3-5 year olds called Garden Play. The Farm Project also hosts community work days and farm based events, providing opportunities for people of all ages to contribute to the farm.
The farm stand will be set-up outside the main entrance to the YMCA, at 507 Broadway, near the parking lot. SNAP benefits will be accepted.
Bike Powered Mobile Market!
All produce is grown in the Kingston YMCA Farm Project’s garden behind the Y. Organic methods are used. We accept EBT, debit cards and cash.

The Kingston YMCA Farm Project’s mission is to educate and empower young people by directly engaging them in sustainable food production on an urban farm. Participants will learn and practice the skills needed to produce their own food and to make healthy choices throughout their lifetime, while increasing the community’s access to fresh produce.
