11:00 am – 1K Kids Fun Run (FREE!)
11:30 am – 5K Timed Race & Zombie Escape

Registration:
Pre-Registration (by 10/28): $20
– Register for the 5k Race or 1k Walk by 10/15 and receive a FREE t-shirt!
Day-of Registration (after 10/28): $25 (no free t-shirt)
Team Discount: $15 per person (FREE t-shirts if registered by 10/15)

Runners of all ages are invited to run for their lives in UlsterCorps’ 7th Annual Halloween Zombie Escape, Saturday, October 29, 2016. Enjoy the spectacular fall foliage and beautiful trails at Williams Lake in Rosendale, while dodging zombies and other spooky surprises hiding in the woods, tunnels and caves – a perfect family friendly way to start your Halloween. The event includes options for all levels of competitors: a FREE 1K Fun Run for kids, a 5K timed race and Zombie Escape, and a 1K walk/hike. Top finishers will receive awards in gender and age group categories.

Runners participating in the “The Zombie Escape” will be given a health flag belt (two flags each, like flag football) – avoid the zombies and get through the woods with at least one flag and all your brains intact and you will earn an UlsterCorps Zombie Escape Survivor wristband. Runners can also opt to avoid being attacked by zombies and compete in the timed race without wearing the health flags. Participants in this fun Halloween themed annual event are encouraged to wear costumes, or represent their favorite local agency or cause. Special awards will be given to Best Individual Costume and Best Group Costume. There will also be a Team Spirit award.

The event will also include a bonfire, goodie bags for the first 300 registered runners and volunteers, and free refreshments including hot chocolate and s’mores.
