The Woodstock Film Festival is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2000 by filmmakers Meira Blaustein and Laurent Rejto. Its mission is to present an annual program and year-round schedule of film, music and art-related activities that promote artists, culture, inspired learning and diversity.
The festival screens more than 125 feature narratives, documentaries, shorts, student films and animated films in the towns of Woodstock, Rhinebeck, Kingston, Rosendale, and Saugerties, drawing visitors from the area, the country and all over the globe. More than 90% of the filmmakers as well as many cast and crew members attend.
Our volunteers are the backbone of the festival and we greatly appreciate any and all help. There is a variety of tasks to help with including: venues (ticketing, ushering), tech department (experience required), art department, pipe and drape, press, registration, transportation (age 25+), and the festival office. And, we need volunteers before and after the festival dates, so call our offices (845) 679-4265 and come in to join the team!!
