OUR TOWN’S EXPRESSION OF GRATITUDE TO OUR WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS.
The Woodstock 17th Annual Volunteers Day – A Day of Gratitude will take place this summer on August 21st.
All current and retired volunteers will be treated to lunch, and welcomed as the “Guests of Honor.” A music concert will take place all day on Andy Lee Field Recreation Park at 58 Rock City Road to celebrate and thank all those who volunteer. The public is invited, and welcome to be there for the celebration.
Music, Food, Fun for Kids and Fireworks
The event is a community thank you for all those kind, generous and brave people who provide services, feed the hungry, help to keep us safe and make our world a better place. All current and retired volunteers are celebrated.
The event starts with lunch from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 PM contact WAiV to reserve a table.
Fun for kids between 12:00 Noon and 4:00 PM
Entertainment all day long until dark.
Food trucks available after 4:00 PM: Green Palette and Jerk Chicken
The greatest fireworks show in the Hudson Valley presented by the Woodstock Volunteer Fire Dept. at 9:00 PM
