1. Adult Day Program Volunteer: This is a day program for frail/elderly clients. We are looking for assistance in the following activities: grocery shopping for the adult day program, cooking on site, bus monitor, serving lunch, reading to clients, help with art class, play checkers/dominos, bring in a pet, lead chair exercises, accompany clients on field trips, end of day clean up
2. Office Help Volunteer: Basic office tasks to include: filing, faxing, copying, data entry, and packet assembly.
In both positions we are looking for a minimum of 2 hours a day. The volunteer(s) could do as many days of the week as they wanted to. We could use up to 4 volunteers in the day program and 3 volunteers in the office at any given time. Our adult day program volunteer hours would be 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and our office volunteer hours would be 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
