Act for Change Anti-Racism Program

Jan 22, 2024

The Act for Change program brings together teens from across Ulster County to engage teens in anti-racist dialogue and work across identity groups. The program will run from the week of February 27th – April 16th with about 2 hours of work/meetings each week. Teens will have the opportunity to attend/give a workshop.

Our first meeting will be via Zoom on Tuesday Feb 27th from 7:30 – 8:30 pm. We will also plan a culminating event at the Ulster County government offices. All other meetings will be virtual. Attendance is a critical part of our program.

Act for Change was co-developed by teens, Cooperative Extension staff, and Cornell faculty and undergraduate students. Check out our Facilitator’s Guide.
