Woodstock Fire Department
Did you know that Woodstock Fire Department is comprised of 4 fire companies and 1 EMS company that has both volunteer EMTs and paid Paramedics? All five Companies have their own buildings, which are spread out throughout the town of Woodstock, to ensure quicker response times for members of our community who live further out from the center of town. Company 1 (fire) and Company 5 (EMS) are centrally located on Tinker St, while Company 2 is located on Wittenberg Rd., Company 3 on 212 in Lake Hill, and Company 4 on Zena Rd.
Questions have come up regarding how to volunteer to help if you don’t feel comfortable answering EMS calls or responding to fires – the answer is PLENTY! All of the Woodstock Fire Companies have Auxillary Members to help with fundraising, assist with community outreach, host events, help with ARC blood drives, sit on the non-profit Boards of the individual Fire Companies, or serve on committees… If you have a professional skill that you think would support and benefit any of the five Companies, please contact us! It takes a village – find out how you can serve your community with this amazing group of people!
