Put Love in Action
Reimagining spaces for youth at Family House
Love In Action is a Family of Woodstock initiative, created in partnership with brooklane Design Studio, to refresh the interior spaces of Family House.
Family House is a program of Family of Woodstock, Inc. and serves runaway and homeless youth ages 12–17 in Ulster County.
For nearly 50 years, Family House — Ulster County’s only shelter for teens ages 12–17 — has provided safety, support, and temporary housing during moments of crisis and transition.
Through the Love In Action Project, we’re transforming these spaces into environments that foster healing, dignity, and belonging.
Volunteer opportunities will be coordinated in phases as rooms and shared spaces are prepared for painting, cleaning, moving, organizing, and installation.
We are currently seeking:
- Painters
- Movers / heavy lifters
- Volunteers to assist with cleaning and organizing
- General installation support
Your time and effort make a meaningful impact in bringing these spaces to life.
