Please join us for Farm to Food Pantry Tomato Gleaning, Tuesday mornings beginning August 19th, from 8:45-11:15am at Patchwork Farm, 83 Homelville Rd in Saugerties. There is no long-term commitment – just come whichever dates work for you.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome (youth volunteers must be supervised by a parent/guardian). Pantry friends are welcome to come glean for their program. Containers will be provided, though if you have extra vases/jars for flowers they would be greatly appreciated. On-farm training protocol provided upon arrival.
Please park in front of the big red barn with the Patchwork Farm sign and wear sturdy shoes, sunscreen, long pants. Volunteers are welcome to pick a share for themselves at the end of each gleaning (please bring a container).
