UCCAC, Inc. Early Head Start/Head Start is searching for volunteers throughout Ulster County. The Kingston Childrens Learning Center located 175 Colonial Drive , Kingston is especially in need of volunteers for the classroom.
Volunteers assist in the classroom, help with special projects, events, field trips, attend parent meetings. The volunteer may provide assistance in expanding the amount of child/adult interaction, reading stories to the children, extending children’s play, supporting children’s involvement in various activity centers, and assisting teachers in the development of classroom materials.
If you have several hours to give consider volunteering in our Classrooms, Kitchen, Family Services (updating our resource guide) and bus monitoring.
Time commitment:
4 hours/day at least 1 day per week
