Kingston YMCA Farm Project
Community Work Weekend
This is a family-friendly event and we have tools for big and little hands. There is also a playground adjacent to the garden, so kids can play while parents work.
Groups are welcome, but we do ask for information regarding the group size and time commitment prior to the event.
We will be moving wood chips, pulling out plants, and generally preparing the garden for the new season. In conjunction with Wild Earth, we will also be doing a clean up of the woods on the Y property adjacent to the Farm.
The Farm is located behind the YMCA at 507 Broadway in Kingston, NY. Actual location is the intersection of Susan and Summer Streets.
