ONE-DAY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Rosendale Street Festival Fundraiser
On Saturday, 14th of March from 12 noon until 10:00 p.m., the volunteer led committee of the The Rosendale Street Festival (http://RosendaleStreetFestival.com) will hold a fundraiser to save The Rosendale Street Festival being dubbed as “The Winter Fest” with live music from Dog on Fleas, The Virginia Wolves, Voodelic, The Trapps and more. This event will be held at The Rosendale Recreation Center, 1055 Route 32, Rosendale, NY. The Street Festival itself is slated for the 18th and 19th of July if fundraising efforts are successful.

The Street Festival is a not-for-profit organization run by grassroots citizens for the purpose of continuing the legendary Rosendale Street Festival. The festival is intended for the multiple benefits it offers to the community and the Mid-Hudson Valley as a whole. It is a volunteer effort on the part of both the musicians and organizers: “1 Street, 2 Days, 5 Stages, 74 Bands”.

The schedule of activities is as follows:

3pm Studio Stu and the Rosendale Hula Hoopers
4pm Breakaway
5pm The Trapps
6pm Mr Rusty
7pm The Virginia Wolves
8pm Voodelic
9pm Sabor Con Colour

On top of monetary donations accepted at the door, the Street Festival organization is also welcoming help from Food Vendors or Restaurants who can donate hot or cold food and home baked goodies from concerned citizens. Arts and crafts and merchandise vendors will donate items for raffle prizes and Winter Fest volunteers are needed in the following roles: roadies, parking, grunts, food & beverage servers, greeters, merchandise sales and clean up.
