A beautiful and mild Thanksgiving morning helped to draw in more than 2000 registrations for the 8th Annual Family of New Paltz Turkey Trot.
Brought to you again by our two headlining sponsors,
New Paltz Health & Nutrition Center,
and Feldman, Kleidman & Coffey!
Both businesses have been our headlining sponsors for years now and we thanks them for their continued support!
Rock & Snow has also been a significant contributor, hosting the Wednesday registration once again this year!
We also thank ForrestFest (our Mashed Potato sponsor) and Ulster Savings Bank and PDQ Printing, all with significant contributions to the Turkey Trot this year! We’re so thankful our sponsors on-going generous support and for the support of more than 60 other local businesses and individuals this year. See a full list of sponsors on our Website

Our first 50/50 raffle brought in $174 to Family! And Anthony from Rockland County was the lucky winner of the other 50% or $174!
Our sincerest “thank you” goes to each one of you that participated in this event: sponsors, volunteers, runners, walkers and spectators!
While we did expect the event to grow each year, but this year’s growth was unprecedented and left us tight on resources in some areas. We thank those of you that were patient and understanding when we ran out of bib numbers, pins, cups, etc. We very happily accept the additional challenges that come with the larger than expected participation. With lessons learned and your wonderful feed back, we start the planning for 2012 right away. We appreciate and welcome your comments, suggestions feedback and questions.
The Turkey Trot Planning Committee is a very small group of dedicated volunteers. With more than 2,000 people now participating, our committee needs to grow. We welcome new committee members for 2012 so we can continue to support and improve this event!
Please contact us at turkeytrot@gmail.com to provide feedback or to become a committee member.
Thank you again!
We look forward to having you back in 2012!
Warmest wishes to you all for a happy and healthy holiday season!
