Not doing anything this Sunday?
Want to learn all about gardening in a permaculture context but can’t pay for a workshop? Come out and help out in the permaculture gardens at the common fire housing co-op We’ll be working from 10 – 2 in the garden, rain or shine (we cancel only for thunderstorms). There will be a spread of things to do from low-stress seed starting to high-energy sheetmulch bed preparation, to in-between garden maintenance, depending on how many people show up (so if you come and bring friends, there’ll be more choices for what can be done).
Think of it as a free, lunch-included workshop – you can ask any questions you want about gardening and permaculture, learn to build sheet mulched beds, etc. and ask as many questions as you want of your peers and of me. I will be available to answer any and all questions, provide framing, etc.
And, add to your calendars a second work party on Monday, May 11. Same time, same place, just as much fun and learning!
Please join us! We would love to have you. Lunch will be provided, we can give some informal tours, and I’ll work hard to answer all your questions! Please bring work gloves!
