Hudson Valley Hunger Banquet – Volunteers Needed!

Back Stage Productions (BSP), 323 Wall Street, Kingston
Free admission for volunteers!

Volunteer Orientation/Dress Rehearsal
Saturday March 20th, 12-1pm at BSP.
Call 481-0331 or email us to RSVP.

Volunteers will be needed for:

Pre-banquet – February & March: (still needed!)

• Posters/flyers: minimum 4-6 (more is good to cover more area)
• Calling and stopping in to recruit restaurants to participate :
  2-3 VERY good communicators
• Recruiting places of businesses to hand the orange signs (maybe the same as the “poster” hangers
• Volunteer “set decorators”
• Set up – Saturday March 27th, 12:30-3:30pm at BSP – (3-4 still needed!)

Day of:

• Set up (6-10 volunteers) early in the day (noon) at BSP – (3-4 still needed!)
• Welcome table (4 volunteers) 4-6pm
• Front door Greeters (2 volunteers) 4-6pm
• Ushers (4 volunteers) 4-6pm
• Hosts/hostess (4 volunteers) for the after event reception
• A “stage manager” to assist Sarah (1 volunteer who knows the area well and is CALM and attentive)

Servers:

• Servers Tier 1 (6-8 volunteers) to assist the banquet servers from Ship to Shore 4-7pm
  These volunteers need to have professional food service experience – (still needed!)
• Servers Tier 2 (6 “lunch ladies”) 4-7pm
• Servers tier 3 (3 volunteers) one station each for rice, bread and water 4-7pm

Clean Up/Misc.:

• Clean Up that night (10-12 volunteers)
• Security – (still needed!)
• Parking assistants
