Dance. Learn. Come together. Laugh. Have fun. Promote peace.
Hudson Valley’s vibrant and diverse dance community is hosting a unique and happy event: Dance for Peace! This “smorgasbord of dance†was created to introduce people, big and small, to the joys of dancing and to help spread the word about promoting world peace. Dance for Peace will take place at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Kingston.
Instructors and musicians will be on hand to showcase, demonstrate and teach dance– African, swing, hip-hop, cajun, Native American, international folk dance, belly dancing,
Texas two step, hoola hoping and more! You’re welcome to join in or sit and watch any or all of the dance offerings throughout the day.
So please join us! Give dance a chance! Experience how spirit-raising,
mind-relieving, body-energizing and life-enhancing it can be!
