Growing Cities, a film about Urban Agriculture in America

Please join us to celebrate this first AMAZING season of the Kingston YMCA Farm Project.
The event will be on Tuesday, September 23. From 5:30-7:30 we will have food, music, games for kids, and a silent auction. At 7:30 we will screen, Growing Cities, a film about Urban Agriculture in America. http://www.growingcitiesmovie.com/the-film/
We are suggesting a $10 donation for adults and $5 for children, but that is just a suggestion. Absolutely everyone is welcome and no one will be turned away.
We are all hoping for good weather so the event can be held outside at the Farm (behind the YMCA at the intersection of Susan and Summer Streets).
If weather is inclement, we will be inside the Y in the main gym.
Please park in the Y’s parking lot and walk back to the farm.
Bring a lawn chair if you plan to stay for the movie!
Please help spread the word. If you are interested in volunteering to help with this event, please email me directly: kingstonymcafarm@gmail.com. We are looking for about 10 volunteers to hep with setting up and breaking down
for food, music, games for kids, and a silent auction. It would be ideal if volunteers could come from 4 to 8 – they are welcome to stay for the film (for free) which starts at 7:30.
