Rondout Valley Intermediate School is seeking volunteers to help with their Intermediate Fall Fun Fest (IFFF) on Thursday, October 5 (rain date October 6th) from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
The event is divided into 2 parts.
The first part involves 8 team-building activities that students will rotate through with their classes. Volunteers are needed for the following:
- Time keepers who will signal when students should switch activities
- Floaters to fill in when the activity leaders need a break
The second part is a less structured “harvest fest” type event, with tables set up that students can stop at as they choose. Volunteers are needed to run tables during this time with activities such as pumpkin painting, popcorn popping, and assisting with other craft/game activities.
Volunteers would not need to commit to the entire day, but any portion of the event.
They are looking for volunteers over 18 years old, and an existing fingerprint background check would be helpful.
