SUMMARY:Volunteer Orientation for Local Hunger Relief Organizations
DESCRIPTION:Would you like to help increase access to nutritious foods in y
 our own communities? If so\, please join us for a Volunteer Orientation.\n
 \nThe Orientation will include presentations by local food pantries\, soup
  kitchens\, and Farm to Food Pantry initiatives. You’ll learn about the 
 many opportunities to help support and grow local initiatives to address f
 ood insecurity and improve the quality of food available to those in need 
 in our community. Volunteer opportunities include: helping to grow\, glean
  and distribute fresh produce donated by local farms\; preparing lunchtime
  meals at a soup kitchen\; picking up food from local grocery stores\; sto
 cking/organizing shelves and preparing food packages at your local food pa
 ntry\; assisting with food drives and more. The Kingston Orientation will 
 include presentations by Family of Woodstock\, Angel Food East\, People’
 s Place Food Pantry\, FeedHV\, and the Farm to Food Pantry Collaborative.
