Voices in Action, TMI Project’s anticipated annual benefit and storytelling showcase, will take place on September 29th in the theater of BSP Lounge, in Kingston, NY. The evening will feature live storytelling performances showcasing young storytellers from TMI Project’s recent production, 13 Reasons Why NOT and #blackstoriesmatter @ Kingston High School, as well as DJ Ali spinning tunes, drag queens and kings breathing life into the room, spirited cocktails and mocktails, and more.
BTQ suicide lifeline, with the 2018 Voices in Action Award for his dedication to ending suicide among LGBTQ young people. TMI Project will also recognize three local leaders and activists as TMI Project Agents of Change: Amy Kapes, Kingston High School social worker; Kale Kaposhilin, co-founder of Moonfarmer and Evolving Media Network; and Odell Winfield, director of The Library at the A.J. Williams-Myers African Roots Center.
