UlsterCorps Winter Wish List Drive 2014
From November 28th through December 20th, 2014, UlsterCorps will be compiling a list of Holiday Wish List items requested by local service agencies. Items listed below should be dropped off with the specific agency that requested them. Toys for Tots
It might seem like just another toy, to you. But for a child in need, a brand-new toy can deliver a message of hope that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, and patriotic citizens. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

The holidays are a time of joy and celebration. However for a family that has recently experienced domestic violence and is just starting over it can be difficult. We appreciate your support in assisting these families with gifts and necessary items so their holidays can be a true celebration of peace and joy.
We ask that all gifts be new and unwrapped.

People’s Place Holiday Toy Program
People’s Place runs a holiday toy program in mid December where we allow low income Kingston area parents, to shop for free toys for their children, in our thrift store. In this way, the holiday gifts come from the parents, hopefully empowering the parents. We will be looking for help to set up the toys in Mid December and for volunteers to work as personal shopping assistants.
