Volunteers are an incredibly valuable part of our operation and much of the work we do couldn’t be done without them.
We rely on volunteers to provide animal care, work outreach
events, and to help keep our shelter clean and running
smoothly. We are committed to providing each volunteer
with a rewarding and productive experience.
How to Become a UCSPCA Volunteer
- You must be 18 years or older to volunteer at the shelter. Sorry this is due to insurance reasons here at the shelter. For ways to help if you are under 18 please see our section on How Kids Can Help.
- Fill out our volunteer applications located below.
- Attend a general orientation (Orientation Dates located below).
- Start volunteering when it is convenient for you. We are open for volunteering Tuesday-Sunday 10am-3:30pm.
