The 30th Annual Letter Carriers’
Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
Saturday, May 14th, 2022
An estimated 45 million Americans experience food insecurity every year. You can make a difference by participating in NALC’s #StampOutHunger Food Drive, the largest one-day food drive in the country. On May 14, leave a bag of nonperishable food next to your mailbox, and your letter carrier will take care of the rest! All donated food stays in your local community.
People who have questions about the drive in their area should ask their letter carrier, contact their local post office, or go to nalc.org/food, facebook.com/StampOutHunger or twitter.com/StampOutHunger.
ULSTER COMMUNITY STEPS UP TO
STAMP OUT HUNGER!
Since 2005, we have collected over 107,000 pounds of food that is distributed to food pantries throughout Ulster County! It takes many volunteers to make the drive happen – unloading, sorting, & packing all the donations.
Please remember your local pantries whenever you’re at the store and they have one of their buy one/get one deals! They will accept donations anytime!
Volunteers are also needed Saturday May 14th from 1:30 to approximately 5:30pm on the loading dock of the Cornell St Post Office in Kingston to assist with the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive sorting & distribution to local pantries. If you can help out, please register below or email volunteer@ulstercorps.org or call/text 845-481-0331.
