Volunteers assisting with local recovery efforts after Irene/Lee in 2011
The Disaster Response and Recovery Committee of Ulster County needs a local group of motivated citizens to prepare for any future event that might require emergency response.
If you have expertise in any of the following areas, or just feel a desire to pitch in, please join us for a plenary session at the St. Francis DeSales Parish Hall on Main Street, Phoenicia on Tuesday September 30, at 5:30 PM.
Suggested areas of focus: Sheltering, Feeding, Coordination of volunteer efforts, Communication, Animal response, Access to services for our most vulnerable population.
