This year’s summit will focus on fostering the emotional health and welfare of volunteers and the non-profit community during disasters (ie: COVID, recent ice storm, etc.). It will feature a diverse range of presenters offering a variety of strategies, skills and action items to help us build wellness and resiliency in the nonprofit community and in ourselves as we seek to navigate and support each other through challenging times.
The Summit will include a series of panels, presentations and roundtable discussion, as well as self-care and wellness demonstrations and activities. Together we will work to identify skills and resources for sustenance and restoration that we can share with our families, our communities and beyond, and begin to realize ideas for a healthier future.
The event is free and is planned as a hybrid in-person and livecast event. Coffee, tea, and infused waters will be provided to in-person guests (no food will be served due to COVID). All in-person attendees are asked to be vaccinated and wear masks. In-person registration is limited to the first 50 individuals to register by emailing register@ulstercorps.org or 845-481-0331.
