RVGA Farm to Food Pantry tomato processing at UCCAC
Rondout Valley Growers Association’s Farm to Food Pantry Program is seeking volunteers to help process tomatoes donated by local farms into sauce for use by Ulster County food pantries and soup kitchens throughout the winter. The processing will take place Friday August 14th, from 1-5pm at Ulster County Community Action, 70 Lindsley Avenue, Kingston, NY.
We hope this will be the first of regular Wednesday evening processings, so please save the date and help out whenever you can. If you can volunteer tomorrow or in the future, please contact glean@ulstercorps.org or call Ron at (845) 481-0331.
