As you all may already know, Volunteer Connection, the Red Cross volunteer database, is a tool that we use almost daily here in the Eastern New York Region. To get those of you who might not use it regularly more acquainted with the system, we are holding trainings throughout the region on Volunteer Connection.
This course is intended for all volunteers, no matter your role in the organization. We will show you how to access the system and how to use different features the system has to offer.
This includes how to:
– change your username and password
– submit your volunteer hours
– explore the groups you belong to
– find out what is happening across the region
and much more!
Part of this training will also look at how a volunteer leader, supervisor or employee might utilize the system to best engage and communicate with their volunteer workforce.
To register for any of the dates listed below, please access your Volunteer Connection account at https://volunteerconnection.redcross.org and hover your mouse over “My Shifts,” and then click “Volunteer Connection Trainings.”
