The Kingston YMCA Farm Project is working with KaN Landscape Design & the YMCA of Kingston & Ulster County on the playground next to the farm.
In trying to keep our spending focused on play equipment and the park, we have been working with volunteers on some projects.
Next week, Tuesday October 20 & Wednesday Oct 21, 9am- Noon, we could use help with:
Tuesday:
Bring some light tools to debark logs
hammer, flat screw driver, sanding tools, and/or files…
We can also have some jobs around the farm.
Wednesday:
Assist contractors in placing the logs (lifting required) in the sand area of the playground.
We have small logs and bigger logs to place in the gravel.
Bring your own gloves and wear shoes for gravel/mud just in case.
