Spring has sprung and here at Pine Street African Burial Grounds were excited to honor the waking up of the season with a spring fling clean up!
Will you join us this Saturday 4/29/23 for this season’s first clean up and prep day?
10am – 12 noon
We plan to Gather and honor the new season and welcome the gifts of spring new and old by:
- Picking up sticks
- Clipping and pulling invasives
- Turning over/preparinging garden beds
- Spreading mulch
- Sharing time together and sharing a fresh glass of lemonade
We have some rakes and shovels. Bring your favorite garden tools, gloves and a cheerful heart of community love. We are so fortunate to give care in this sacred place. Join us with enthusiasm if you can and kick your weekend morning off well!
Come prepared for the weather, a light rain makes gardening easier, a steady downpour we’ll reschedule! Keep an eye out for a rain date!
