DESCRIPTION:The next New Paltz Repair Cafe will be held on Saturday\, May 2
 3rd from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the New Paltz United Methodist Church locat
 ed at 1 Grove Street in New Paltz. PLEASE NOTE: this is a change from our 
 usual schedule of the 2nd Saturday of the month!\n\nA Repair Cafe is a fre
 e community event. You bring your broken but beloved items and together wi
 th volunteer repair coaches\, WE FIX THEM! People bring all kinds of thing
 s to a repair cafe: clocks and other mechanical items\; chairs\, frames\, 
 and other wooden items\; electrical items and small appliances\; digital d
 evices\; clothing and textiles\; dolls\, stuffed animals\, and toys\, tool
 s in need of sharpening\; jewelry and watches\; and so much more! Most ite
 ms get fixed\, and even when they don’t – we have a good time trying!\
 n\nWeather permitting (i.e. no precipitation or extreme temps)\, our welde
 r Vince Murray will be on site to do any metal repairs as well as lawn mow
