DESCRIPTION:The next New Paltz Repair Cafe will be held on Saturday\, Janua
 ry 17th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the New Paltz United Methodist Church l
 ocated at 1 Grove Street in New Paltz.\n\nA Repair Cafe is a free communit
 y event. You bring your broken but beloved items and together with volunte
 er repair coaches\, WE FIX THEM! People bring all kinds of things to a rep
 air cafe: clocks and other mechanical items\; chairs\, frames\, and other 
 wooden items\; electrical items and small appliances\; digital devices\; c
 lothing and textiles\; dolls\, stuffed animals\, and toys\, tools in need 
 of sharpening\; jewelry and watches\; and so much more! Most items get fix
 ed\, and even when they don’t – we have a good time trying!\n\nWeather
  permitting (i.e. no precipitation or extreme temps)\, our welder Vince Mu
 rray will be on site to do any metal repairs as well as lawn mower blade s
 harpening and balancing. Our zipper fixer\, Michelle Elise\, will also be
