New Paltz Earth Day Fair
Saturday, April 16th, 2016, 10am – 4pm: rain or shine
at the Reformed Church of New Paltz, 92 Huguenot St, New Paltz
Co-sponsored by the Caring for Creation Committee of the Reformed Church, the Interfaith Earth Action Group, and the Climate Action Coalition
A gathering and celebration of sustainability and earth wise practices. What can each of us do to be greening our community? Displays, Demos, Children’s Activities, Healthy Food, Thoughtful Fun, Inspiring Music and More! FREE.
We will need help setting up tables, chairs, and particularly BIG TENTS. We try to do as much as we can the early evening before, which would be Friday April 15. During the event, we always need help with people overseeing tables, hammering in wooden signs, hanging up posters, distributing programs, handing out name tags, and assorted tasks like that. It is always great if we have a few folks ON CALL-ON LOCATION – to run around to do those surprising tasks that always seem to pop up during the event itself!
