Kingston YMCA Farm Project Work Weekend

The Kingston YMCA Farm Project, an urban, educational farm located in Midtown Kingston is hosting a Work Weekend on April 16 and 17th. We are looking for volunteers for either day between the hours of 10 and 2. EVERYONE is invited to the farm to help prepare for the upcoming growing season.

This is a family-friendly event and we have tools for big and little hands. There is also a playground adjacent to the garden, so kids can play while parents work.

Groups are welcome, but we do ask for information regarding the group size and time commitment prior to the event.

We will be moving wood chips, pulling out plants, and generally preparing the garden for the new season. In conjunction with Wild Earth, we will also be doing a clean up of the woods on the Y property adjacent to the Farm.

The Farm is located behind the YMCA at 507 Broadway in Kingston, NY. Actual location is the intersection of Susan and Summer Streets.
