SUMMARY:Kingston Emergency Food Collaborative
DESCRIPTION:The KEFC is a grassroots coalition of area organizations and in
 dividuals working to ensure our community has access to food. We initially
  arose to address food insecurity in the community which was exacerbated b
 y the pandemic shut-down in March. We continue to serve our community. del
 ivering more than 85 prepared meals daily to folks living in motels and bo
 arding houses plus groceries to 60+ households on a weekly basis. Currentl
 y\, we are looking for volunteers who are willing and able to assist with 
 a variety of tasks: food deliveries\, handling the food request hotline\, 
 scheduling volunteers and other needs as they arise. Complete the Voluntee

 edge\, with the best practices to avoid spreading infection while voluntee
 ring.
