I Love My Park Day at Franny Reese State Park

Join us and Scenic Hudson Inc. at Franny Reese State Park to celebrate the fourth annual I Love My Park Day! I Love My Park Day is an exciting statewide event to improve and enhance New York’s parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park’s system and its needs.
From 10 AM to 2 PM, meeting location will be at Johnson-lorio Park Entrance. Please bring garden gloves, plenty of water, snacks, and a lunch. Help us remove exotic bush honeysuckle so native plants can flourish again. After lopping the honeysuckle, we’ll compress and tie it into bundles for use as dry brush packing to help stabilize shorelines.
Wear appropriate work clothes you won’t mind getting dirty, including long pants, sturdy closed-toe shoes and a hat. Appropriate for ages 13 and up, participants under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration opens in March.
