Hudson Valley HorsePlay is hosting a picnic on the farm on Monday, October 9, 2017 and are inviting community members to join them. Open Barn is a free event to introduce COSMO, their OT-approved mechanical horse, and offer demonstrations of on-the-ground activities to support mindfulness, assertiveness, team-work and other social and character skills.
Volunteers are needed to be greeters, tour-guides, for general errand-assistance, snack service, etc. Helpers should arrive around noon and stay as long as they are willing and able.
