when: Thursday September 19th, 2024, 5-6:30pm
where: Ulster County SPCA
20 Wiedy Rd, Kingston, NY
Are you and your pets ready in case of an emergency? Are you prepared to shelter at home, or evacuate, if necessary, during a disaster? What items should you pack into your–and your pet’s–Go Bag?
September is Preparedness Month, and the Ulster County Animal Response Team (UCART) and the Ulster County SPCA are once again teaming up to provide answers to these questions and more. Technical Sergeant Jennifer Caoili of the New York National Guard returns to the Ulster County SPCA to present strategies and tools to prepare for any kind of disaster. The more prepared we are, the more quickly we can recover from an emergency. Pizza and beverages will be available. Attendees who pre-register will receive a pet Go Bag (specify for a cat or a dog). Space is limited! Please RSVP by email: UCART@UlsterCorps.org
